Magical visits to an Art Gallery

Anne’s books will intrigue any imaginative young reader with a fascinating cast of characters that have been skillfully drawn out of beautifully reproduced Australian paintings.

In the adventure book, Imagine this!, Ginger and Beau take Polly to visit an art gallery and they are amazed at what they discover by investigating the pictures especially when given a hint to spark their natural curiosity.

In another creative journey, Maddie and Will embark on an extraordinary art gallery adventure. They find the ‘Lost Girl’ and follow a pictorial detective trail by inspecting clues in works of art by some of Australia’s best known and most loved artists.

These magical stories introduce a new generation to Australian art which they may have otherwise missed.

The books will fascinate children from 4 to 10 and can be read to and explored by younger ones.

POET & AUTHOR

The Lost Girl is brilliant and most of all original . . .  The illustrations are good fun, clean and sharp . . .

Clearly imaginative story that would appeal to the age group.

CANBERRA TIMES

Anne Gray's latest venture is a curious and engaging children's story . . . featuring high-quality reproductions of the paintings . . . juxtaposed with lively illustrations of the modern-day protagonists drawn by Tony Flowers.

The Lost Girl gave our students a new way to engage with and appreciate artwork . . .they now view the works as a 3 dimensional world. Where the students themselves try to peek over the shoulder of the children in the picture to see what they are looking at.
